At Xerra, we use Earth observation data to tackle complex questions of national strategic importance. One focus of my work is to establish a nationwide tool to support synoptic monitoring of lake water quality using satellite remote sensing.

Adjunct Senior Research Fellow
The University of Waikato
I am a lead researcher in Eye on Lakes, a research project to improve the detection of cyanobacteria blooms in lakes using satellite remote sensing.
I also co-supervise several graduate students, give special lectures and provide expertise in lake science and remote sensing.

Leading role in a New Zealand-wide team of the most prominent freshwater scientists in the country in a four-year, NZD $4.5 million research programme (MBIE contract);
